Happy Crabsgiving (This was supposed to be posted 11/23/10 but wasn't finished and will remain that way)

Happy Crabsgiving everyone! That's right, I said 'Crabsgiving'. The day where I shall feast upon the delicous carcasses of crabs with my cousin and her friends and me boyo. There shall much fun had all around.
But that's also the reason why I'm doing another school-post. I have alot to do when I get home...

Gotta start laundry
Finish an art project
Clean up my room (can't have a messy room when the boy comes over)
Most likely help clean the living/diningrooms
Walk the dogs
Aaaand get all cute-looking.

Hopefully if I have time I'll be able to hop on the computer and check my faceyspace and read some webcomics. (Later this week I may post a list of the ones I read, give y'all something else to read online.)

Here's the two things that I was writing yesterday. The first one (which I'll do in red) is sort of my own little World-War-Z entry.

There was no warning when it started. No message from the government telling us how to stay safe. People just started to disappear. Almost everyone that went to a hospital ended up going missing...

Pets died too, mostly cats. The ones that were allowed out to wander the neighborhoods freely. They'd stop coming home and sometimes would be found in the middle of streets, ripped to shreds.

After a while there was the occasional news report, but it only focused on the missing and dead animals. They'd say there was a crazy person on the loose, but 'do not worry, the police know of his whereabouts and will have him in custody soon."

Bullshit.

Bullshit, all of it. I knew it from the beggining. one night my cat didn't come hom and I new something was up. The nights were becoming too quiet, like all of the wild animals had fled for safer ground.

Then I saw one, about a week after hospitals started to close down...

I live newar one and have to drive by it all the time, and sometimes I'll see someone walking along the road and offer them a ride. There was someone on the road when I was coming home from work one night, so I pulled over and opened my window.

The first thing that gave it away was the smell, it was like a thousand rotten bags of trash mixed with just as many rotten feet and socks. And instead of actually speaking when I asked if they'd like a ride, it just let out this dreadfully low and loud moan. That moan that shook me all the way through. The part that really tipped me off though, was the giant gaping hold through the things chest...

This next one is sort of inspired by a story I wrote a looooong time ago..

"What do you want for dinner sweetie?" my mom called from the kitchen.
Instead of hollering back, I walked in and hopped

So yea...

Hope y'all had a good Thanksgiving. I'm putting this post up quick cuz the last couple of days kinda got away from me.
On Tuesday I starting typing up a post in school , but didn't finish so I was going to finish and post it that evening, but never was able to get to a computer. I'll try to get that to you people tomorrow.
But yea, hope your turkey-nomage day was filled with wonderful food and loving people. I know mine was (for the most part)

Miss me?

Oh no! An entire weekend without a post? What's my one follower going to do?
(Yea Liam, what are you going to do? {Check out his blog here}

I know I wanted to update every day, but sometimes nothing worthy of being posted on the interweb happens. My weekend was pretty relaxed.
Saturday was spent with Liam and his lady going through music for a holiday party that we'll be having in a couple weeks. Though during that time I was attacked by his lady, in the good way. But I did end up with a massive bruise on my next. Then we went to IHop and had tasty breakfast-stuffs for dinner.
I got the nutella crepes, no banana.

I don't like banana in my nutulla...

Sunday I had an early Thanksgiving with a good chunk of my family. That was pretty much spend eating and playing Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass. Which is tons o' fun, might I add. Oh! And I got a massage! (My cousin is in a massage school and has to practice on real people)

AAaaand then we had today, Monday. The gross start of the week, but this week shall be epicly epic.
Why, you ask?

Tomorrow is Crabsgiving. The day where my cousin has a bunch of her friends over and we feast upon the delicious, delicious carcaasses of crabs.
Also, tomorrow, my boyfriend will be coming over for crabsgiving and spending the night.
Aaaand my best friend is coming home from collage and I'll get to see her on Wednesday.
Aaaaand I'm skipping all but one class on wednesday (it's a half day anyway)
And then it's Turkey-day!

This week will be amazing, which is why I'm on my way to bed and you people are getting a late post. Tomorrow (should time allow) I'll post the start of two different stories that I started today.

Nighty night peoples, have a good sleep.

~Oh yea! I finished World War Z. Wonder what I'll be starting next....~

11-17-10

Sip
Hold the flavours on my tongue
Hazelnut and creamer, coffee and artificial sweetener
This drink makes me thirsty.

I have decided that any poemy-like things will be in blue on this here blog of mine.

Finally fourth period, last class of the day. It's one of those classes that I have a love-hate relationship with.
English.
I don't mind the class, but sometimes it can drag on and on and on (hell, most classes already do that because they're 85-friggin minutes long)
One of the cool things about it though is that my teacher has a coffee pot in the back of the room and will share it to us if she's in a good mood. Today it was hazelnut coffee.

(Today- 11/18/10)

Ah, once again in Spanish...

Please shoot me. Now.

I can't stand this class and once the semester is over, I'm dropping it like a hot brick. Like a brick that's on fire.
My apologies for not putting up the second part of my post last night. First I had to finish an art project (which I left at home on the day it was do...) and then I was watching True Blood. Had to get my Eric Northman fix. Mmm... Eric Northman...

Uh-oh... Now I've gotten my mind on Eric Northman. I want to have that fictional vampire's non-existent babies. Seriously. I am in love with Eric Northman. I promise not to go off on him toooo much, unless it's True Blood season. I know I have a serious problem, but I care not!

ANYWAY

'World War Z' is a flipping amazing book. I was hardly able to put it down to write this.
Alright. Imma eat a brownie (leftover from lunch) and read a little bit more and then get back to this.

I'm currently on page 195, by the way.
~~------------------------------------------------~~

So I never did get back to it..... But now I'm eating popcorn!
Hope you enjoyed the read peoples.

Have an epic afternoon.

Posting while in school!?

My psychology class is fucking crazy...

We're looking at this picture (I'll try and find it online to show you) and we had to tell the teacher what we thought it was was. This one really annoying kid had this freakishly weird answer. He said it looked like a guy drowning with a Pac-man ghost face and a piranha swimming toward him. I, on the other hand, see a dalmation drinking from a river with a tree on the other side.

Maybe I'm just not a creative as that kid. Or I haven't been on the crazy train quite as long.

Apparently it's supposed to be an incomplete picture of a dalmation, but my teacher says there's no right answer because it's all about how we percieve it.

(You can see the picture here. What do you see?)

Is the red that you see the same as the red that I see?

~~~-------------------------------------------------~~~
I wrote that while I was in my first period psych class this morning. Right now I'm in my third period math class and I'm extremely bored, so today may have two posts.
Anyway, I went back and read my post from last night and wow I should really reread things before posting them. There were words where I didn't mean them and things not in the right tense and shiz like that. Promise the next ones will be better... Maybe.
I'm currently reading 'World War Z' by Max Brooks and am loving it. I think that I might be going through a zombie craze at the moment because this is like the third or forth zombie-related book I've read in the past couple weeks.
I read 'Generation Dead' and 'Kiss of Life' by Daniel Waters and started the book 'Empire: A Zombie Novel' by David Dunwoody.
(Does anyone else see a thing with 'D' names and zombies or is that just me?)
Are there any suggestions for books I should read, zombies or not?
Alright, I think I'm going to end this one here. There's still about 40 minutes of class left, but I'll fill that in with World War Z and playing Kingdom of Loathing.
Have a good afternoon.
New to this whole thing
I want to start a blog, every once in a while I get the urge to, but I'm so bad with updating thing... Anyway, figured I try anyway. Gives me something to do and gives you people on the internet something to read (or rant about because of my horrible spelling/grammar.)
To start off, I'll introduce myself...
My name's Christine, but most of my friends call me Chris or Scully. I'm currently a high school senior and I live with my aunt, cousin, and my cousin's baby. I could go on and on about my living situation and how it got the way that it is, but I won't. The last thing I'll put in this little chunk is that I'm on a little more goth/punk than most of the people I hang around with. I prefer to listen metal and wear dark clothes and junk like that.
So I just finished reading this really awesome book, 'Kiss of Life' by Daniel Waters. It's the sequel to his other book 'Generation Dead' and I highly recommend both of them. Unfortunately though, since I finished it, i now have to actually pay attention in my Spanish 2 class, which I hate with a furious passion.
(Well, actually, I have this to distract me because I'm writing this on paper during class.)
-------------------------------------
So that's what I'm probably going to do a lot, by the way. Write something on paper and then hopefully get it up on the internets sometime that evening. It may be an opinion on something or what's going in my class or how I'm feeling at the moment. Sometimes you may even get to read poetry and stuff!
I know this isn't a lot, but unfortunately I have to be up at 5am to get ready for school (damn you public school system) and need to start getting ready for bed and such.
The fact that I'm getting over a cold and a weekend with little sleep also doesn't help the having-to-get-up-early factor.
A good night to you all. Thanks for reading.
