Gah!?

Okay. So. I got quite a bit to talk about today. Well, at least exciting stuff. I think it's exciting...
I guess it's really not a whole lot.

Sorry! Got off topic.

So I'm sitting at my computer last night (wasting time, because what else do I do?) when my phone starts a-buzzin'. I don't recognize the number at all, but what the hell. I pick it up anyway.
It was The Art Institute of Seattle.
Holy shit, right?
I end up talking to the representative (he was really nice) and he asked if I wanted to schedule a phone interview, because that's part of their application process. Of course I say yes and he's all like 'Well, how's Monday? At say, 5 your time?' That works for me. We say our goodbyes and I hang up.
Then it hits me.

I have a phone interview.
With a college I kinda really wanna go to.
On Monday.

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!?!?!?

That was my reaction all last night and a little bit into today when I was telling my art teachers about it. Donald (my amazing art teacher that's like a farther to me) helped me pick out the best of my best work that I have on DeviantArt and suggested that I make a new account. When the interview will be going on, I have to be on the computer too so that way I can send them work and we can look at web pages about the school and stuff.
I dunno what screen name to give the new account though.
CScullen, maybe?

Today was lots of fun too, I found out that I love working with chalk pastels. My jeans are proof of that (the one leg is kinda really covered in streaks of the stuff from my hands).
I also realized that I have a shit ton of art to do during second semester and fuck if I'll be able to get it all done in time.

I haven't felt very motivated as of late, so I haven't really been doing anything that's good for me school-wise. This could be because it's the end of the semester and teachers are done teaching and just trying to make you remember all the stuff they shoved in our heads. Or it could be a combination of that with my missing almost a week, the weirdness of exams, and still feeling 'blarg, dun wanna move' from winter break.

Gotta get out of it!

That's one of the reasons I rearranged my room.
But it's not done.
Which is bad.
Cuz I have people coming over tonight for a kinda-but-not-really party.

You see, we weren't supposed to be having school tomorrow. But then it snowed/iced and school got canceled. That caused all of the exams to be pushed back a day. So instead of taking my English exam today, I had to take my Spanish exam (which wasn't too bad, but still).

Anyway, I still haven't finished cleaning my room, which will make it very hard to party and dance and frolic and such.

Suppose I should get on that, huh?

Before I go! Could you fair readers do me an awesome? (that means favor, by the way).
Well, actually two.

1-Let me know what you think my DeviantArt screen name should be when I'm talking with the college
2-Give me feedback on my photos (the link will take you too them).

I'll put up P365 pictures tomorrow!

I'm not dead, I swear!

Right, so this past week has been slightly hectic.
I ended up missing everyday of school except Friday (and the only reason I went was because exams started) because I was sick. Got to a doctor on Wednesday and it turns out I have/had strep throat. The doctor even said 'I've never had a strep test come back positive so quickly.' So I  musta really had it.
Anyway, I'm feeling much better now. Just got a little sniffle, a slight cough, and my throat hurts in the mornings. But then I take my anti-biotic and eat something and I feel just fine.

On Friday I started rearranging my room and wow is it different. Before I had a my one large dresser blocking a window and I moved that to the other side of my room. I can actually see my TV from my bed now.
This may or may not be a good thing. Cuz it's awesome I can lay in bed and watch TV without having to contort myself at funny angles, but that means that I can just lay in bed and do nothing and watch TV (even though I get all of five channels).
Another good thing about the placement of my TV is that I can no longer see it from my desk. So I can't watch TV and sit and my desk and be on the computer and just. Just feels weird cuz now if it's on, it's right behind me.
My room just feels much more open now. Hell, my cousin woke me up this morning by just opening my curtain because now the light'll shine right now my bed. Didn't used to be able to that.

What else can I talk about?

Schedule for next semester! I made it awesome! Hopefully I'll have much more free time and actually use that time for doing things. Honestly, I thought my counselor was going to fight me on the three classes I wanted to drop, but she didn't really care too much. But yea, my schedule is not going to be
A Day                              B Day
AP Studio                        AP Studio
AP Psych                         Photo 2
                                        English
I dunno about you, but that seems like an epic schedule. I have art every day and only two really academic classes. If I'm smart, I'll use the free time to get work done and make my art awesome.

Speaking of art, I have to get on that before it gets too late...

Man, I have a shit ton to do tomorrow.
-Gotta finish arts
-Gotta do a math project that's due Tuesday (Fuckin' math...)
-Go through my massive amounts of clothes and crap with Kytti

That's my main objective of tomorrow; Get rid of clothes and crap that I either don't need, don't use, or don't even remember that I own. If you're interested in any of my crap that I'm giving away, just let me know and I'm sure we can arrange something.

Alright, I'm gonna head off now. And by that I mean go back to watching Eddie Izzard instead of finishing up my room.
And! I'll post the Project 365 pictures that I don't have up.

Right, I'm leaving now.

Why this week!? (I really need to start finishing entries instead of just leaving them half-assed)

Okay, so, exams start Friday. Usually that wouldn't bug me in the least, but I'm pretty yucky sick. Friday I was fine and had a good time with my fellow War Kittens and then epic time partying that night. Saturday I felt just kinda 'bleh', but was able to survive.
Sunday is when shit hit the fan....

When I woke up, I was so congested... I could hardly breathe out of my nose, my throat felt dry and like it was half closed. My ear also felt clogged and I had a little trouble hearing out of it. It was very much not the fun. I tried to

Something...

I feel like I dreamed something important. I can't... I can't remember what happened. There was someone there I hadn't met before. We kissed.
Maybe I had met him before?
Damn it. I can't remember. It's driving me mental and I've only been up for a couple hours.

Why do dreams always have to do this to me?

Project 365

 January 7, 2011
January 8, 2011

Never going to do that again....

So last night I learned two very important things....

1.Shotgunning a beer will very likely make you vomit (and if congested, you'll smell nothing but vomit for the rest of the night)
2.I need to learn to be more assertive.

I'd say 'as per usual', but the parties that occur at my place are starting to become not quite so 'usual'. The only reason we (and by we, I mean more my cousin Heather than myself) had some of our (they're actually her friends, but have all grown to love me so I also refer to them as my friends and will for this just to make things easier) friends over. Mainly because there's so much extra booze left over from New Year's (Hell, even after last night we have a shit ton...) and my cousin didn't work till late the next day.

But yes. There was much drinking. I stopped when I vomited off the porch...
Lemme esplain.

We started the night off with a shot of GM, then we moved on to a Jager Bomb. After that, I made a drink that was mostly vodka and some coke, and then we had another Jager Bomb! I was fine for a while, at least until we started to play Fuck The Dealer (if you don't know the game, look it up. It's lots of fun). At the start I was doing fine, but towards the end I started to get screwed over. Luckily there were mainly low cards, so I survived. After that, we played kings. Now that's the game that really got me...
For those of you that don't know how to play, I'll tell the main part you need to know to understand my story. When you play Kings, you spread a deck of cards around a beer and go in a circle pulling cards. Each card is assigned a different meaning (5 is guys, Ace is social, 2 is you, etc.). But if you pull a king, you have to put it on top of the beer. If you pull the last beer then you have to chug the beer. Well, I didn't pull it, but someone that had to drive home did.
My smart ass volunteered to chug half of it, but next thing I know, I'm standing on the porch with people, getting ready to shotgun it. I did alright, was able to get a little more than half before I couldn't take it. Then I let out the loudest, deepest burp I think I've ever had. Probably wasn't even a minute later that I was leaning off the porch throwing up. And because I was so congested, I smelled vomit whenever I breathed through my nose for the rest of the night.
I ended up being okay. But I'm not done, there's still more to my fantasmical story.

So there was this guy that came with one of my friends last night, we actually shotgunned a beer at the same exact time. We ended up talking and talking and talking aaaaand he tried to make a move (by that I mean kiss me). I wasn't exactly comfortable with that not because of him, but because of the people that were inside and on the porch and stuff (they would've probably beat his face in because he's older than I am). I tried to let him know, but he kinda didn't stop. By the end of the night, I kept running back inside because he was getting pretty close to me and I didn't want that. One of my friends ended up giving me a drunken talk about how if I want someone to stop doing something, I need to tell them and stand by it, not just pussy out and drop hints that they should stop.
That's why I'm going to add 'Be more assertive.' to my New Years resolutions.

But yea, that was my Friday night. Hell, that wasn't even Friday day.... That I will get to tomorrow in between psychology vocab and art worksheets and projects.
